Long have I searched Tokyo for a Filipino restaurant/cafe where I can proudly take my non-Filipino friends. Kainan in Roppongi is one of those places (and we do love the food and the warm hospitality there) but when compared to the Thai or Indian restaurants in the area, it may look a little too “small-business”, even if the price suggests otherwise.

Then my friend told me there’s this newly opened cafe in Tokyo that may actually live up to our -err- “high standards”. It’s called Travel Cafe Philippines Tokyo Shop and it’s located in Iidabashi near Tokyo Dome.

Never been there yet though.
