Recently, it has become tradition that whenever I visit my family in the Philippines, we would go to an out-of-town trip. In past visits, we’ve been to Boracay, Subic, and Tagaytay.

Last week, the place was Batangas at a resort called Acuatico Beach Resort.

Even though the beaches of Batangas were nowhere near the levels of Boracay (or maybe Palawan), I would still recommend this place, mostly because it is just a couple hours drive from Manila, a merit Boracay and Palawan can never lay claim to.
