The other day, Rico and his longtime friend from University were walking from work on their way to Tokyo Station.
“Nung nasa university tayo ito na yung pinangarap natin no?” commented Rico. “Ang magtrabaho sa pinakamalalaking kumpanya sa isa sa pinakamalalaking financial centers ng mundo.“
“Kaya nga eh no.” his friend replied.
There was a brief moment of silence while the two continued walking amidst the tall buildings of Otemachi, Tokyo’s financial district.
“Pero bakit parang kulang pa rin?“

i remember getting what i thought i always wanted and said “yatto, yatta!” and yet still found myself so unhappy and empty. sometimes we fill empty spaces with the wrong ones…

lovelife ang kailangan mo. kahit sa buwan ka pa magtrabaho, kahit magswimming ka sa pera, kailangan mong ibahagi ang sarili mo sa isang kapareha, at siya sa iyo. huwag kang matakot na muling lumusong sa kumunoy. tapos, sabihan mo ulit kami kung “kulang pa”.
