Search for Honshu Peak

For my March vacation, I originally thought of flying away from all the coldness of Tokyo to a place warm and exotic like Vietnam, Laos, and/or Cambodia. Then I remembered it’s recession time so I decided to save some money and stay in Japan. My press release will say “I need to watch my carbon…

Nippori to Narita in 36 Minutes

It looks like travel time from my place to Narita will be reduced by a whopping 15 minutes (!) although admittedly, the idea of saving 30 minutes (round trip) a year doesn’t sound very fantastic considering I only fly abroad about once a year. NRA Website (Japanese)http://www.nra36.co.jp

Three Famous People

We met three famous people in Tagaytay this morning. Tim Yap, Raymond Gutierrez and KC Concepcion. 😀

No Broken Elbows This Time

I’m back! No broken elbows this time! Snowboarding is a lot better without the injuries and with good snow! I had so much fun to that point that I am now considering buying myself my own equipment. Here’s looking forward to more snowboarding trips this winter.

On The Road To Recovery

A week ago, I went snowboarding in Nozawa-onsen, Nagano then shit happened. I fell on my back and apparently, my right elbow wasn’t strong enough to support all seventy-five kilos of me. As if that wasn’t bad enough, it had to happen on a Saturday so I had to spend the whole Sunday wandering around…

Travel Cafe Philippines Tokyo Shop

Long have I searched Tokyo for a Filipino restaurant/cafe where I can proudly take my non-Filipino friends. Kainan in Roppongi is one of those places (and we do love the food and the warm hospitality there) but when compared to the Thai or Indian restaurants in the area, it may look a little too “small-business”,…
